These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website, operated by JOIN Engineering & Consulting (“JOIN”, “we”, “us”), a company established in Portugal with registered offices at Edifício Transparente, Via do Castelo do Queijo, 395, 4100-429 Porto, Portugal. By accessing or using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.

1. Scope of the website

This website provides general information about JOIN’s engineering services, collaboration models, career opportunities and company. It is intended for business users — including international companies and engineering professionals — and does not constitute an offer, quotation or contractual commitment.

2. Services and contractual relationship

Any engineering services provided by JOIN — including flexible engineering capacity, dedicated engineering support, work packages or engineering hubs — are governed exclusively by a separate written agreement, proposal or purchase order signed between JOIN and the client. Where such an agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement prevails for the services covered by it.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or connected systems.
  • Do not introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale or interfere with the availability of the website.
  • Do not submit false, misleading or third-party personal information without authorisation, including through our contact and application forms.

4. Applications and submissions

When you submit an enquiry, CV or spontaneous application, you confirm that the information provided is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Submissions are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Submitting an application does not create any employment or contractual relationship, and JOIN is under no obligation to respond to or act upon a submission.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this website including text, layout, graphics, logos, trademarks, images, code and design is owned by JOIN or licensed to JOIN and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print content for your own internal, non-commercial use. Any reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited. The JOIN name and logo may not be used without authorisation.

6. Third-party links and content

The website may contain links to third-party websites or embedded content, such as maps or professional networks. JOIN does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of those third parties.

JOIN works with clients and engineering professionals in several countries, mainly within the European Union and the European Economic Area. This website may be accessed from other jurisdictions, but JOIN makes no representation that its content or services are appropriate or available in every location. 11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in the user’s country of residence within the EU. Any dispute arising from the use of this website shall be submitted to the courts of Porto, Portugal, unless a different competent jurisdiction is mandatory under applicable law. For business relationships, the dispute resolution clause of the applicable signed agreement prevails.
